Most products have calculated shipping. Some specific products have free shipping and will be marked as such. 

Greenhouse Frames and Commercial Greenhouse Equipment Have Calculated Shipping

Greenhouse and commercial greenhouse equipment shipping costs are calculated separately from the rest of your order. These items are mainly greenhouses and large/heavy commercial items that require freight shipping. This allows us to get you the lowest rate possible based on your proximity to our manufacturing facility.

We will be sure to get you a prompt shipping estimate and invoice once you are ready to purchase! We will reach out by phone or email whenever an order or quote request for a greenhouse or commercial greenhouse equipment is submitted. Our fast and friendly staff wants to make sure you get the best rates and make sure that your order is complete and accurate before it gets sent out!

Lead Times

We do our best to get you your order as quickly as possible.  Be aware, however, that shipping in the commercial greenhouse industry can be unpredictable due to seasonality. Our priority is to keep costs down and pass those savings on to our customers. Although we do our best to get orders shipped out as quickly as possible please account for the possibility of shipping delays for this reason. We are manufacturers ourselves and work directly with manufacturers as much as we can. To keep costs down we aggregate shipments.

DAMAGED FREIGHT / FREIGHT SHORTAGE POLICY from Damaged Shipments!!!

Inspect all items on arrival: Drivers MUST sign if ANYTHING is damaged due to handling during shipping before they leave your property. You cannot return or be reimbursed for items damaged during shipping without a signed receipt indicating damage from the driver. Please read below for all the necessary details:

Please inspect your shipment thoroughly PRIOR TO SIGNING the proof of delivery receipt the driver will provide after dropping off your items and before leaving. If there is obvious damage or shortage, make a note in detail on all copies of the delivery receipts and make sure the driver signs them to acknowledge your notation about the damage. If you have the ability to photograph the transit damage please do so immediately, before the driver leaves so their truck and license plate can be in the picture, and record the date the photograph was taken by emailing it to us right away. 

If you have signed for a shipment and later identify freight damage that was not visible at the time of shipment, please contact us within 7 days from the date of receipt. Any such notice must be given BEFORE the goods have been cut, treated, altered, or made up in any way whatsoever.

If no such notice is given to Hortitech before alteration of the goods, the shipment will be deemed to be in all respects in accordance with the contract and the Buyer will be deemed to have accepted the goods and bound to pay for them without refund. This clause does not apply to manufacturer defects that the Buyer could not reasonably have discovered by careful examination of the goods.

Parcel Shipments

For smaller parcel shipments your order will be delivered by UPS, FedEx, or USPS and will generally ship and arrive in a predictable fashion. We will supply you with a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped.

Standard Freight

Larger orders ship out by freight on one or more palettes.

Freight Agreement

Freight Friendliness Required: Your location must be able to accommodate freight. Semi-trucks vary in size and can be as long as 80ft and sometimes require room to turn around to head out of your location.
Presence Required: An authorized person must be present to accept and unload freight shipments.  If special equipment is required to unload freight shipments such as a forklift or palette jack they must be supplied by the customer.
Extra Delivery Fees: Some orders incur additional delivery fees due to limited accessibility. This can include busy city centers, Hawaii, Alaska, other islands, or inaccessible areas. We will contact you prior to charging additional shipping fees for your approval. At rare times our freight agents will contact us about additional costs they incur which must be paid prior to delivery due to "obvious" barriers to delivery.
